Anacardium Orientale

Anacardium, the Marking Nut is a great medicine with distinct striking clinical features.

1. Sudden Loss of Memory, Confusion: Everything seems to be in a dream. Great weakness of Memory.
2. Senses of Duality and unreality: Feels as though he has two wills, one commanding him to do what the other forbids.
3. Irresistible desire to curse and swear.
4. When walking he felt anxious, as if someone were pursuing him: he suspected everything around him.
5. No confidence in himself.
6. Peculiar sensations of Anacardium are: Bursting, Binding and Plugging.
7. Symptoms disappear during dinner ( Eating ameliorates), but begin anew after two hours. Pain Head relieves entirely when eating : worse during motion and work.
8.Sensation of plugging up in Rectum, Great and urgent desire for stool, passes without evacuation.
9. Cowardice.
10. Sensation of Plugging inside while sensation of Band or hoop around a part outside.

Comparison of Nux Vomica and Anacardium in Dyspepsia:-

Anacardium has a Pain in stomach only when the stomach is empty and is relieved by eating, while Nux Vomica has Pain and distress in stomach which is relieved after the process of digestion. Where Anacardium is better while and after eating, Nux Vomica is worse at that time, and after completion of digestion (Means 2-3 hours after eating) Nux Vomica get relief while anacardium get worse now.
